Real Madrid have raided Las Palmas for youngster Raul Asencio.
Marca says the youngster started off at Huracan and Acodetti, before being snapped up by Las Palmas where he has been for the past five seasons.
Asencio has been on Madrid's radar for some months now and the deal has been finalised along with a six-year contract after discussions between his representatives Emar&Soccer and Los Merengues.
Real had wanted to secure his services last Christmas, but Las Palmas refused permission to speak to the player.
Asencio's departure is another from Los Amarillos' impressive youth team set up, from where players move to the mainland every summer after being signed up by traditionally bigger sides.
