German club, Borussia Dortmund has extended a goodwill message to Black Stars head coach Otto Addo after following the tactician’s accident in Ghana.

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) on Sunday informed the general public that members of the Black Stars technical team including head coach Otto Addo were involved in a road accident earlier while returning from Tarkwa.

The team had been on an official assignment, observing the Champion of Champions clash between FC Samartex 1996 and Nsoatreman FC.

The vehicle carrying Head Coach Otto Addo, Assistant Coach John Paintsil, and Goalkeeper Trainer Fatawu Dauda, a Land Cruiser with registration number GR 6521-21, avoided a head-on collision with a pickup truck which veered off into its lane with some damage to the vehicle.

Having become aware of the news, Borussia Dortmund through a post on its social media platform sent best wishes to Otto Addo, wishing him good health and speedy recovery.

“Otto Addo and two assistant coaches of the Ghanaian national team were injured in a car accident this morning. We wish everyone a good and speedy recovery,” Dortmund said.
