Dr. Bawumia donates $10,000 to supports Hasaacas Ladies FC’s CAF Women's CL campaign

The Vice President of the Republic of Ghana, H.E Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has donated a cash sum of $10,000 to support Hasaacas Ladies FC in their campaign in the CAF Women’s Champions League.

The Ghana Women’s Premier League Champions are set to represent the country in the first-ever edition of the Women’s Champions League.

After calling for support in the past week, Vice President Dr. Bawumia has come to the aid of the club with the aforementioned amount.

“The club on Monday morning received a cash donation of $10,000.00 from His Excellency, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia in support of our quest to represent Ghana in the WAFU Zone B Women's Championship,” the club announced on Monday in a statement on its Twitter page.

The statement continues, “Everyone at Sekondi Hasaacas FC extends appreciation to Honorable Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the second gentleman of the land for his generous extension to support us on this worthy cause.

“It's a big thank you from the GIANTS of the WEST!.”

Hasaacas Ladies FC are hoping for more support to ensure the team succeeds in the Women’s CAF Champions League competition.
