AC Monza star Kevin-Prince Boateng has stated that the 0-0 draw against Lecce in Serie B is the right result.
The former AC Milan man has enjoyed a bright start to his journey in the Italian second division, putting in a number of great performances.
But, his efforts was not enough as his team were held to a 0-0 draw.
In an interview with DAZN, he expressed his thoughts on the result.
"We knew that the Giallorossi was a strong team and we had a good match like them after all. The equal is the right result for a match where we were tired and not we wanted to make mistakes ".
He also spoke about new teammate Mario Balotelli who could not play the game.
"He arrived with great desire, he wanted to play at all costs today even if he felt a little annoyed. Now with the break he can get back in shape and give us a hand in the second half."
He ended with his thoughts on racism, stating that he will continue to fight against it.
"The situation has not changed compared to 8 years ago, perhaps it is even worse for this I am here to fight, it is sad if in 2021 we are still here talking about these things".
