Dreams FC coach Karim Zito sees improvement in Black Stars under Chris Hughton

Dreams FC coach Karim Zito believes the Black Stars have improved under new trainer Chris Hughton.

The Irish-Ghanaian took over from Otto Addo who resigned after the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

The Premier League manager has been in charge of two games since taking over in February, guiding the Black Stars to one win and one draw last month.

Ghana defeated Angola 1-0 at the Baba Yara Stadium before traveling to play a 1-1 draw against the Palancas Negras in Luanda during the 2023 AFCON qualifiers.

In an interview with Kessben FM, the Black Starlets gaffer expressed satisfaction with the performance of Hughton after two games.

“In terms of points, four out six, what do you want again? You see the changes. You see the aggressiveness of these young ones wanting to win at all cost but luck just eluded them in Angola”

“So far so good, I am okay with him (Hughton). There’s improvement because they are playing according to instructions given to them.”  He said.

The Black Stars will be back to action in June for the remaining two AFCON qualifying games against Central Africa Republic and Madagascar.
