Dreams FC GM commends GFA for not bending rules during organization of President's Cup.

Ameenu Shardow, General Manager of Dreams FC, has praised the Ghana Football Association (GFA) for their adherence to rules during the 2023 President’s Cup.

The GFA’s decision not to compromise led to a Ghana Premier League week 20 game between Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko being merged with the cup game, rather than being held as a separate fixture.

Shardow, speaking in an interview with Joy Prime, criticized the planning process and stated that the resulting criticism should serve as a lesson to the organizers.

He emphasized that he hopes future events will improve following the disastrous organization of the recent game.

“One thing that is very, very, clear and for that I'll commend the FA for that; they were not willing to bend or to make room at all or to halt their program.

"The program is so choked but again I concede we didn't plan for this and that's how come all these things are playing out. For me, I'm embarrassed to be honest.

"As a sports administrator who is always championing the cause of how we do our things and hoping that things will get better for things to play out like this for us to lose the public. For me, it's quite embarrassing.”
