Dreams FC striker John Antwi has shared his thoughts ahead of their CAF Confederation Cup semifinals clash against Egyptian giants, Zamalek.

The Ghanaian FA Cup champions defied all odds to reach the semifinals of the Confederations Cup in their maiden appearance after triumphing over Stade Malien.

The Still Believe lads came from behind to draw with the Malian giants in Kumasi on Sunday following a 2-1 win in Bamako to seal qualification to the last four of the competition.

The 2009 Confederations Cup winners opened the scoring at the Baba Yara Stadium before Sylvester Simba leveled pegging to snatch a draw on home turf.

Dreams FC will now lock horns with Zamalek in the semifinals of the competition.

Speaking to the media, the former Al Ahly and Pyramids star said his side will prepare to face the Egyptian outfit in the crucial encounter.

“We are taking it game after game. Now, we are in the semifinals so we are going to prepare for our game against Zamalek” he said.

Dreams become the first Ghanaian side to reach the semis of the CAF Confederation Cup, since Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko did so back in 2005, in the maiden edition of the competition.

The Still Believe lads will travel to Egypt to face Zamalek in the first leg tie on April 21, 2024 before the return leg in Kumasi on April 28, 2024.
