Dreams FC attacking midfielder Sylvester Simba has turned their attention to the Ghana Premier League following their elimination from the CAF Confederation Cup campaign.

The Still Believe lads defied all odds to reach the semifinals of their maiden participation in the Confederation Cup campaign.

Dreams FC were on the brink of making history, but things fell apart after succumbing to a heavy defeat at the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday to Zamalek.

The Ghana FA Cup holders went into the return leg with the advantage after holding the Egyptian powerhouse to a pulsating goalless draw in the first leg played at the Cairo International Stadium.

But the Ghanaian outfits’ hopes of reaching the finals dashed after succumbing to a 3-0 defeat.

Dreams FC are yet to live up to expectation in the Ghana Premier League this season and Simba says, his side will now focus on the Ghanaian top-flight to grind result once their Africa campaign is over.

“We were competing in three major competitions (The Ghana Premier League, FA Cup and Confederation Cup), there was a bit of fatigue in the team”

“We were used to our African opponent than the GPL teams. But once our Africa journey is over, our main focus will be on the league. We assure our fans that we will step up in the league. You will start to see Dreams winning games home and away” he told Kessben FM monitored by Footballghana.com.
