Dreams FC head coach Karim Zito has credited the team's impressive performance in the ongoing CAF Confederation Cup to the consistency and discipline demonstrated by both the players and the technical department.

The Ghanaian club held Egyptian powerhouse Zamalek to a goalless draw in the first leg of the semifinals in Cairo, setting the stage for a thrilling second leg at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi.

Speaking to Peace FM, as monitored by Footballghana.com, Zito highlighted the importance of discipline and consistency in achieving their current success.

Zito, who has been with Dreams FC for an extended period, also emphasized the role of technical consistency.

The coach further noted that the players are not just playing for the club, but also to showcase their talents to the world, potentially changing their lives.

"I think in the first place discipline is part because and consistency with the players they are players who I have watched plenty at Still Believe and they were promoted to Dreams that consistency is there. And also there is technical consistency because if Dreams is mine I have been with the club for so long this is part and now the hard work we have done is bearing fruit," he said.

"So when you have this opportunity you grab it and hold it to show people something. At the end of the day every player who will play a part you are also selling yourself to the world for you to be able to change your life so multiply of factors helped. Most especially we are well disciplined if we say sleep here they will sleep go that way they will go so it is like I am working with my children," he added.
