Dreams FC's Vladislav Viric slapped with GHc2,000 fine and one match ban

The GFA Disciplinary Committee has announced a decision on a misconduct case involving the Coach of Dreams FC Vladislav Viric.

INCIDENT

After the match between Asante Kotoko SC and Dreams FC at Obuasi Len Clay Stadium, Vladislav Viric made comments to wit that ‘they called some people to help them, they are in black, you know, to help them to be better the game’, a statement which in the opinion of the Association is likely to bring the game into disrepute. In his written statement of defence, Vladislav Viric pleaded guilty to the charge.

The GFA Disciplinary Committee stated that Viric breached regulation: Breach of Article 34(6)(d) of the GFA Premier League Regulations, 2019.

SANCTIONS

1.That Vladislav Viricis found guilty of the Charge.

2.That a fine of GHc2,000is hereby imposed on Vladislav Viricin accordance with Article 34.9 of the GFA Premier League Regulations and Article 6.1of the GFA Disciplinary Code.

3.That VladislavViric, Head Coach of Dreams FC is hereby handed a one match suspension in accordance with Article 6(2)(a) of the GFA Disciplinary Code.

4.That Vladislav Viric shall within three (3) days, publicly apologise to the Referees of the GFA and the entire Association, failing which Vladislav Viricshall serve a further 6 months ban.

5.Vladislav Viric is warned that any future misconduct shall receive a more severe punishment.
