Dutch-born Ghanaian Myron Boadu has switched to Eredivisie side FC Twente for the rest of the season for more game time.

The 23-year-old forward joins the Dutch side on loan from French Ligue 1 giants, AS Monaco

Boadu has struggled for playing time, forcing him to secure a loan move to save his flagging campaign. He made only ten appearances for the French Ligue 1 giants and scored just a goal in the process.

The 23-year-old striker is expected to play a huge role for Twente for the rest of the season. He will be wearing jersey no.21 at FC Twente.

"Myron Boadu will play on loan for FC Twente until the end of this season. The 23-year-old striker is rented from AS Monaco. Boadu will join the selection of trainer Joseph Oosting from tomorrow" the club announced.

Boadu was born to Ghanaian parents in Amsterdam which makes him eligible to represent the West African nation in future despite making his debut for the Netherlands in 2019.
