Dwarfs fans to build club training pitch

Published on: 08 January 2018

Executives of Dwarfs’ supporters group disclosed this after their extra-ordinary one-day conference at the Cape Coast Town Hall over the weekend.

As a result of their decision, they have purchased ten plots of land from the Adwenadze Ebusua of Ebu Tsikweykrom – a community in the new Ankaful in the Cape Coast North District of the Central Region.

The supporters say Ebusua Dwarfs will be 80 years in 2019 and that, they don’t have a training pitch. They have been using the Robert Mensah Stadium to train.

If they are able to construct the training pitch, they will be the first group of football fans in Ghana to embark on such an ambitious useful project for their club.

Attempts by fans of Hearts and Kotoko – two of the oldest Premier League clubs in Ghana, to do something similar have yielded no fruits.
