Dwubeng strikes as Al Wasl see off Jazira

Ghanaian teenager George Dwubeng was on target for Al Wasl in the Emirati Gulf League on Saturday evening as they saw off giants Al Jazira by three goals to one.

Dwubeng who played full throttle at the Zabeel Stadium netted the second goal for his side in the 57th minute after beautifully heading home a corner by Brazilian forward Ronaldo Mendes.

The Ghanaian teenager was a delight to watch throughout the game as he marshalled the Al Wasl midfield to the admiration of the fans.

The goal was Dwubeng’s first for Al Wasl since his Winter 2019 move from Romanian side FC Lasi.
