Dyer slams Spurs chairman Levy: I was earning more than Rose in 2002!

Former England midfielder Kieron Dyer has slammed Daniel Levy's wage ceiling.

Tottenham star Danny Rose is among those to have criticised the wages and now Dyer has claimed he was paid more in 2002 than one of the current top Spurs stars.

Speaking on BBC Radio 5 live, he said: “He's a full international, regular for his country and regular for his team.

“He told me what he was on wages wise and I was on more money than him at Newcastle in 2002.

“This is a player now at Tottenham, who came second in the league, who is a full international in 2017 and he isn't on what I was on at Newcastle in 2002."
