Dylan Adjei-Hersey scores for Hungerford Town against Dartford

English-born Ghanaian midfielder Dylan Adjei-Hersey scored in Hungerford Town's 1-1 draw with Dartford on Tuesday evening.

The first half was a close encounter in which neither team could produce clear-cut chances. Hungerford forced several corners, but Dartford defended them successfully. Dylan Adjei-Hersey looked dangerous, combining nicely with Joe Boachie and Fabio Lopes.

Dartford surrendered an odd corner due to a defensive blunder as the half came to a close. Ryan Jones swung in a corner kick, and Adjei-Hersey clipped a header into the far corner. His first goal for the club, and a well-deserved goal given his excellent first-half effort.

Dartford went on the offensive in the second half and was level after 10 minutes. Carruthers' corner kick resulted in a goal for Alex Wall. The referee waived away any objections when it appeared that Jed Ward had been fouled while Wall was pushing the ball over the goal line.

Hungerford Town is 23rd on the league table with 29 points while Dartford is 2nd with 67 points.
