Earthquake: My thoughts, prayers are with Christian Atsu and all Ghanaians in Turkey – Dr. Bawumia

The Vice President of the Republic of Ghana, H.E Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has reacted to the devastating earthquake recorded in Turkey and Syria.

The tragic earthquake has resulted in thousands of casualties with Ghana winger Christian Atsu trapped under rubble and yet to be found and rescued.

In his statement, Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has prayed for the best for the Ghana player and all other Ghanaians in Turkey and Syria.

“My thoughts and prayers are with our brother Christian Atsu, all Ghanaians in Turkey and Syria, and the people in these countries following the earthquake. May God protect them all,” Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia said in a statement posted on Twitter.

Since morning rescuers have been making efforts to locate Christian Atsu and all other persons trapped in the rubble.
