Edwin Gyasi wants to leave Aalesunds

Ghanaian player Edwin Gyasi has stated his desire to leave current club Aalesund FK.

Gyasi who has been at the Norwegian side  since 2016 is keen on leaving before the transfer window closes on Wednesday.

"I do not want to play in the first division in Norway, I think everyone understands," Gyasi told Sunnmørsposten.

"I have ambitions to play at a much higher level, and I'm afraid that the landslide fights if I do not get on."

Edwin Gyasi has been heavily linked with a move to Europe's top leagues, with Newcastle United, Norwich City, Gatefe, Nottingham Forest and Shakhtar Donetsk.
