Carlton Town's goalkeeper Felix Annan has revealed that former Manchester United goalkeeper Edwin van der Sar was his role model when growing up.
Annan also stated that he always learn from all the top goalkeepers to become better.
Felix Annan was in action for Carlton Town FC on Tuesday when the team defeated Quorn 2-0 in the English FA Cup.
The former Asante Kotoko man was in post and lasted the entire duration of the contest.
In what was a home match for Carlton Town FC, Felix Annan was big in the post and pulled off some good stops to contribute to the eventual victory.
"You know I am someone who learns a lot I learn from all the top goalkeepers but when I was growing up I look to Edwin van der Sar," he said after the game.
"Because he was one of the greatest goalkeepers but for me I try to learn other things from other goalkeepers.
"Everyone has his own qualities so it is better to learn from the best and then you add it to your own," he concluded.
He is now focusing on the next match of Carlton Tow FC in the league next weekend.
