Arsenal midfielder Mohamed Elneny insists the players are desperate to make the fans happy.
Arsenal have been slammed for their performance in the Carabao Cup final defeat to Manchester City on Sunday.
Elneny was an unused substitute for the final, but took to Twitter to pledge that he and his team-mates will strive to improve as their season unravels.
The Egyptian midfielder posted a picture of a distraught Arsenal fan with the caption: "Listen, your tears are so precious for all of us.
"For the sake of you and the sake of all the gunners’ fans I promise you to fight to draw the smile on your face."
