English-born Ghanaian striker Emile Acquah grabbed an assist in Barrow FC's 1-0 win against Crawley Town in the English League Two.

Emile Acquah started the game at the SO Legal Stadium and lasted 71 minutes.

Elliott Newby recovered the ball on halfway following a referee advantage and sprinted into the area to cut inside on his right foot and let fly, but it fluttered wide of the post in the 18th minute.

Telford took the ball in midfield and passed it to Emile Acquah, who was one-on-one with the Crawley keeper, but his effort sailed over the bar.

After the break, in the 46th minute, Robbie Gotts was brought in down the left flank and crossed the ball into the box for Emile Acquah, who received the initial cross but laid it off for Dominic Telford, who slammed the ball into the bottom left corner of the net.

Barrow will play Colchester United in their next league game.
