Ghana's Emmanuel Toku scored his first goal for Aalborg BK against Vendsyssel FF on Friday evening.

Aalborg BK beat Vendsyssel FF 3-1 at the Nord Energi Arena in the Danish First Division.

Emmanuel Toku did not start the game, he came on in the 60th minute to replace Lucas Andersen.

AaB had the first significant chance of the game after only two minutes when Kasper Jorgensen's cross from the back line made its way to Melker Widell, who headed straight at goalkeeper Marcus Bundgaard Sorensen in the tiny area.

Despite having the most of the possession after that, Vendsyssel FF scored in the ninth minute when Oscar Buch went by Kasper Jorgensen on the outside of the field and passed the ball to Carl Lange, who kicked it in along the far post to make it 1-0.

The visiting team eventually scored in the 40th minute, when Oliver Ross guided Melker Widell's powerful cross from the backline into the net close to the goal for a 1-1 halftime score.

Richard Odada extended the away side's score to 2-1 in the 58th minute.

After 71 minutes AaB was awarded a penalty when Ayo Simon Okosun handled the ball.

Substitute Emmanuel Toku stepped up and made it 3-1 from the penalty spot.
