Burnley striker Daniel Ebenezer Kwasi Agyei has returned to his parent club after his loan spell at Coventry City came to an end.

The 19-year-old striker has made 19 appearances for the Sky Blues, netting five goals, including a club record fastest goal against Northampton in the EFL Trophy.

“Coventry City would like to wish Dan all the best in his future career and thank him for his service to the club over the past five months,” a club statement read.

Dan Agyei came through the ranks at AFC Wimbledon, scoring 29 goals for the club's under-21 team in the 2014/15 season to draw the attention of a host of top clubs, reportedly including West Ham, Chelsea and Fulham. Agyei eventually signed for Burnley, on a long-term contract to initially play for the club's development squad.
