English Championship Playoffs: Swansea City to rely on goals from Andre Ayew to realise promotion dream

Swansea City will be hoping Andre Ayew scores more goals in May when the team competes in the English Championship playoffs.

The team from Wales after another impressive performance in the English Champions this season has booked a place in the playoffs at the end of the regular season that is two games away from its conclusion.

Throughout the 2020/2021 football season, Andre Ayew’s importance to Swansea City has been obvious with the club made to pay in matches when the Ghana international is out injured.

It is no surprise that he was rushed back to feature for the Swans last weekend when they drew 2-2 against Reading.

Leading the team as their top goalscorer, Swansea City cannot do without Andre Ayew especially in next month’s playoffs where they will compete against the likes of Brentford, Bournemouth, and Barnsley.

The team hopes their main man will be in his element to bang in the goals with the help of teammates to fuel the promotion ambition to ensure they get to play in the English Premier League next season.

Andre Ayew, 31, will lead Swansea into the playoffs with 16 goals and four assists from 42 appearances in the Championship this season.
