English lower-tier club Crawley Town announce departure of Ghana forward Kwesi Appiah

English League Two side, Crawley Town FC have confirmed the departure of Ghana international Kwesi Appiah.

The former Black Stars forward leaves the club on mutual consent after almost two-year stint at the Broadfield Stadium.

Appiah joined Crawley Town in August 2021 and produced a stellar performance for the club during his spell.

A statement from the club reads,” Everyone at the club would like to thank Kwesi for his service during his time at the Broadfield Stadium and wishes him the very best for the future.”

The 32-year-old scored 11 goals in 26 league games in the 2021/22 season, producing several man-of-the-match performances in the process.

Appiah is expected to find himself a new club before the start of the 2023/24 football season.
