Ghanaian midfielder Enock Kwakwa has explained his decision to leave Swedish second-tier side Jonkopings Sodra IF.

The 27-year-old who joined the club in 2019 contract elapsed last month and has decided to leave the club.

Kwakwa decision to leave the club is as a result of the coach Patric Jildefalk inability to give him playing time as promised.

“You saw what happened during the season. Patric has not been so respectful and I decided to move on in my career and do something else”

“He was not honest. He promised to give me playing time but did not give it to me. So is football sometimes. But I am not a dramatic person and always show respect. I'm glad we managed to stay without playing qualifiers”

Meanwhile, the coach Patric Jildefalk believes that no player is promised playing time.

“It would be very stupid of me to promise any playing time. Especially when it comes to a player who was injured and had an operation. Those who did not take the chance to assert themselves in training and matches, they did not get as many chances later on”
