Enock Kwateng is the second 'good luck' player in Ligue 1

Ghanaian fullback Enock Kwateng has earned the title of Girondins de Bordeaux 'good luck' player and the second in the whole of the French top flight competition.

The 23 year old joined Bordeaux in the summer of 2019 after rejecting a contract extension offer from FC Nantes.

He became one of the first names on the team sheet until January where he was allowed to mourn his brother's death.It has been revealed that in the 14 league games he has played for Bordeaux, they have been lucky when it comes to results. They have only lost two in that period, winning eight and drawing four.

In terms of the 'good luck' rating, Kwateng has amassed 1.07 points, a tally only surpassed by  Angers SCO forward Antonin Bobichon with 1.49 points. Ligue 1 has been cancelled due to the outbreak of the coronavirus.

PSG were named champions after the cancellation and Bordeaux finished the season in 12th place.
