Orange O18 has won with large numbers against Italy O18. The KNVB's promise team outsmarted the Italian youth 5-0 in Gravenzande. Tristan Gooijer, Sten Kremers and Prince Aning from Ajax were part of the match selection. Gooijer started in the base.
The OnsOranje website talks about a 'beautiful match full of daring, guts and simply good football'. At halftime it was still 1-0, but in the second half the team of national coach Martijn Reuser went in hard with another four goals.
The goals during the exhibition game between the Orange U18 and Italy U18 were scored by Livano Comenencia (PSV), Iggy Houben (PSV), Devin Haen (De Graafschap), Ernest Poku (AZ) and Ro-Angelo Daal (AZ).
As mentioned earlier, Gooijer, Kremers and Aning were part of the match selection. The former started the match as the right back of the team, while Kremers and Aning were allowed to take place on the bench.
