Ernestina Abambila marks debut for Polish side KKPK Medyk in home draw against Katowice

Black Queens midfielder, Ernestina Abambila marked her debut for her new team KKPK Medyk Konin on Saturday when they drew 1-1 against Katowice on the opening weekend of the Polish women’s league.

After the abrupt end of the 2019/2020 Polish Ekstraliga season, a new campaign has been started this weekend.

Having joined, KKPK Medyk Konin last month, Ernestina Abambila earned a starting role for the team yesterday having impressed in training.

At the end of the 90 minutes of action, goals from Fabova and Buszewska canceled out as KKPK Medyk Konin and Katowice earned a point each.

Ghana’s Ernest Abambila lasted the entire duration of the game as she earned high ratings on her debut.

She joined the Polish giants from Spanish side Sporting Club Huelva and has also played for Aris Thessaloniki in Greece and Assi IF in Sweden in the past.
