Ghanaian international Kwame Bonsu is set to miss three weeks of action in Esperance colours after sustaining a muscle tear.

The midfielder joined the Tunisian side from Ghana Premier League giant Kumasi Asante Kotoko. Having arrived in the summer transfer window, the player has impressed and is now an integral member of the team.

Due to his recent outstanding displays, Kwame Bonsu was handed a starting role for Esperance last Friday when they hosted AS Vita Club at the Stade Olympique de Rades in the CAF Champions League.

In the first half, the hardworking middle man picked up and injury and had to be replaced by Ben Romdhane.

The medical team of Esperance de Tunis has conducted scans and has now concluded that Kwame Bonsu will need at least 3 weeks before he will recover.

This comes as a big blow for the club and the player who has shown impressive form in the past month.
