Europa League: Ghana target Eddie Nketiah scores and provides an assist to lead Arsenal to beat FC Zurich 2-1

English-forward of Ghanaian descent, Eddie Nketiah was the star for his Arsenal side on Thursday night when the team cruised past FC Zurich in the Uefa Europa League.

The Ghana target started for the Gunners today when the team played as a guest to the Group A opponent of this season’s Europa League competition.

Just 16 minutes into the first half, the visitors scored to take the lead when Eddie Nketiah displayed his creativity to set up Marquinhos to score.

While Arsenal will go on to dominate the game, FC Zurich finished strongly in the first half and scored through Mirlind Kryeziu to restore parity.

After recess, Eddie Nketiah made his quality count in attack as he starred with a top performance.

His fine strike in the 62nd minute propelled Arsenal to record a 2-1 win over the Swiss side at the end of the exciting 90 minutes of football action.
