Evans hoping break can reignite falling West Brom

West Bromwich Albion defender Jonny Evans is hopeful that his side can return back to winning ways following the international break.

Albion's terrible winless streak in the Premier League stretched to nine matches following their 1-0 defeat against Huddersfield Town on Saturday and club captain.

The Northern Irish defender is now hopeful that the international break will provide his side with some respite before they can start getting back to winning ways.

Evans said: "We could have won the game but their keeper has pulled off some good saves and that's the way it goes sometimes.

"It's been difficult because it's been a while since we've had a win. It's now about keeping our heads up and carrying on.

"We've got the international break now and then two tough games against Chelsea and Spurs. You can come up with a lot of clichés at a time like this but we've just got to keep going and keep working at it."
