Ghana winger Evans Mensah is hoping for a Black Stars call up after his impressive performance at the U-23 AFCON in Egypt.

Mensah who was the only Ghanaian player to make it to the team of the tournament is optimistic of a Black stars call up.
“The competition is played every four years and am 22 now, obviously I wouldn’t be eligible to play in the next edition,”
“Right now I am focusing on the Black Stars, I hope to get a chance with the senior team. Is not going to come easy but I need to work harder and make sure I take up the chance when it comes.”

The HJK Helsinki star won one man of the match award- in the opener against Cameroon- and scored two goals at the tournament.
