The striker confessed that he cried all night after that miss and his face was swollen the morning afterwards.

“It was a disaster, it was crazy, but I was a bit calm. I couldn’t sleep the whole night, I cried till morning, my face was swollen due to the tears”, he told TV3 Sports.

He then suggested that his children will atone for him even if he is unable to make the atonement himself.

“I was waiting for another chance because I knew I will redeem myself another day,” he said.

“If not in terms of football, I think in terms of something (else). Something might happen, because I see myself as a good man”.

“Because I am a good man, I have a clean heart so I feel like even if I don’t do it, my kids will do it”, he concluded.
