Everton caretaker boss David Unsworth was disappointed with their first-half for defeat at Leicester City.

Jamie Vardy and Demarai Gray struck for the hosts and sealed a 2-0 victory over the struggling Toffees.

Unsworth remarked: "Second half we were much, much better and the positivity and the way we wanted to play on the front foot was there for all to see.

"But we gave them a two-goal start and first half we didn't perform, so formations and tactics can go out the window if your players don't play on the front foot.

"I want us to play on the front foot. For some reason we didn't do that in the first half, we changed it around and got two strikers on, played with a diamond and our performance was certainly a lot better second half."
