Everton manager Allardyce: Coleman \'dedication\' can inspire us

Published on: 30 January 2018

Everton manager Sam Allardyce believes that all his players should look at the dedication of first-team right back Seamus Coleman.

It was almost a year ago that Coleman suffered a serious leg injury which ended his season. He has gone through extensive rehabilitation and training to be back in the first team picture.

And Big Sam is hoping that his other players can look to Coleman as an example of how hard a footballer must work to give his full qualities to the team.

"He reminds me of the dedication that's needed in the game at all levels," the Blues manager told evertontv.

"When I've seen him, he's never been that miserable, he's not been moping around - all he's been enquiring about is, 'What can I do to get fit? What more can I do?'. That's a credit to him.

"Hopefully when he starts playing again he'll hit his top form as quickly as possible and make a big contribution for us."
