Koeman and football director Steve Walsh took in Malaga's clash with Celta Vigo.

The Liverpool Echo says unconfirmed reports suggest the Blues boss and Walsh were there to run the rule over Malaga striker Sandro.

Everton are looking to bolster their attacking options this summer with Koeman saying his side need more "productivity" from players other than top scorer Romelu Lukaku.

Sandro has hit 14 goals in 27 La Liga games this season after leaving Barcelona.

A local source stated "every time Sandro touched the ball Koeman and Walsh talked and made notes."

Koeman was later pictured with the player's agent, Gines Carvajal.
