Everton's former England captain Wayne Rooney, 32, will sign a two-year deal with DC United in the next 36 hours. According to Sky Sport, the 32-year-old is expected in Washington before the end of the week after both clubs came to an agreement with Rooney's agent Paul Stretford. Rooney is understood to have secured a visa and work permit and could begin training with his new team-mates by the end of the week.
