Everton have slapped a £50million asking price on wantaway midfielder Ross Barkley, according to reports from The Telegraph.

The future of Ross Barkley at Everton is very uncertain at the moment and manager Ronald Koeman has already issued an ultimatum to the young midfielder to make a decision on whether or not he will sign a contract extension at Goodison Park by the end of the week.

A number of clubs have understandably expressed an interest in signing Barkley in recent times but the 23-year-old will surely not be sold for cheap by Everton as it has been reported that the Toffees have placed a whopping £50million price tag on the England international.
