Ghana midfielder Thomas Partey has opened up on Arsenals chances of winning the English Premier League this season.
The Gunners recorded a 5-0 victory over Chelsea to go three points clear at the top of the table, with few games to end the season.
Partey, who was handed a starting role for the first time since returning from injury delivered an outstanding performance to help his side secure maximum points to keep their title ambition hopes.
Speaking after the game, Partey disclosed winning the Premier League title solely depends on the team.
“I’m happy to be back in the team and also to get a win in the derby,” he said. “It’s a really important game, so I’m very happy. Everything depends on us. We have to continue winning our games, we have a few more games left and we have to win them all.
“It was a very good game, we went all out from the beginning because we knew how important this game was. If we don’t approach it right we are not able to win, but we did everything right and I’m really proud of the squad.”
Partey has been limited to ten Premier League appearances this season due to injury setbacks.
He is expected to start for Arsenal on Sunday in the North London derby against Tottenham Hotspur.
