Ex-Black Queens coach Mercy Tagoe-Quarcoo elated with progress of team under Nora Hauptle

Former Black Queens head coach, Mercy Tagoe-Quarcoo has indicated that she is elated with the work being done by current coach Nora Hauptle.

Although she is no longer in charge of the women’s national team in the country, the Ghanaian tactician says she is rooting for the women from the sidelines.

In her assessment of the work of coach Nora Hauptle, Mercy Tagoe-Quarcoo says she has been impressed.

This is why she wants every Ghanaian to support the Swiss tactician for her to succeed as coach of the Black Queens.

“I am so happy trust me. In all situations, Ghana is paramount. We all need to support Naura to succeed. Ghanaians are yearning to see Ghana female national team in the World Cup, in the Olympics; it doesn’t matter if it is Mercy Tagoe, it’s about women’s football. Let’s all support put everything aside and support Nora to succeed,” coach Mercy Tagoe-Quarcoo said in an interview with Citi Sports.

Since taking charge of the Black Queens, Nora Hauptle has played five international games.

She has won all five, her Queens have scored over 10 goals, and are yet to concede a goal.
