Ex-Black Stars head coach Kwesi Appiah paid a courtesy call to Legon Cities FC as they continue preparations ahead of their match week 11 encounter against Inter Allies on Thursday in the Ghana Premier League.

The 59-year-old took time off his busy schedule to visit the Accra based side as he delivered words of encouragement and hope following their poor start to the season.

He also met with the playing body to offer them his support.

Cities are currently 15th on the league table with 11 points, just one point above the relegation zone.

The Royals will make a trip to Obuasi to face King Faisal in week 11 of the on-going league.

Cities will be hoping to bounce back to winning ways after being held to a 1-1 stalemate by Great Olympics at the Accra Sports stadium in match week 10 fixture.
