Anderlecht striker Henry Onyekuru hopes to join parent club Everton in January.

The Nigeria international joined Anderlecht on-loan after signing for Everton from Eupen.

Onyekuru has scored six goals in nine Jupiler League games so far this season, after hitting 22 last term with Eupen.

Former Eupen teammate Mamadou Sylla says his sights are set on Everton.

He told DH: “Henry has many qualities, which he has already shown in his first campaign in the first division"

“At Anderlecht, his playing time and his ability to adapt to the their games do not surprise me.

“A club and a level where he will still be able to progress, with the goal he has in mind to join Everton quickly to discover the Premier League."
