Ex-Hearts of Oak star Charles Taylor confident club will qualify ahead of Wydad Casablanca

Former Hearts star Charles Taylor believes the Phobians can qualify to the group stage of the CAF Champions League ahead of Wydad Athletic Club.

The 2000 Champions League winners goes into the reverse fixture with a 1-0 advantage and will hope for a favourable scoreline to secure qualification to the money zone for the first time in many years.

The winner of both legs will progress to the group stages with the loser dropping to the CAF Confederations Cup.

Ahead of the game, Charles Taylor, a member of the Hearts of Oak Champions League winning in 2000 expressed optimism about the club securing qualification in Morocco.

"I believe they (Hearts) can qualify. Looking at the team's preparation and the attitude of the players, I'm confident they can qualify." He told Asempa FM.

Hearts of Oak have arrived in Morocco with a 24-man squad ahead of the much-anticipated clash on Sunday.
