Former Asante Kotoko defender Ahmed Adams is on the verge of joining Ghana Premier League side Ashanti Gold in the on-going transfer window.
Adams is expected to pen a deal with the Miners after fruitful negotiations with the club ahead of the start of the 2019/20 GPL in December.
He has been club-less since missing out on the chance to sign a professional contract with an unnamed PSL side in the December 2018.
The former Medeama SC ace has been at home since his purported move to Switzerland hit the rocks.
He is expected to start training with the Miners in the coming days ahead of his possible switch.
His arrival will help strengthen Ashgold's defence who are left with only two centre backs.
