Ex-Kotoko goalie Anthony Osei Kwadwo wants Seydou Zerbo sacked

Former Asante Kotoko goalkeeper Antony Osei Kwadwo has called for the head of Burkinabe coach Seydou Zerbo over an unimpressive performance.

The Porcupine Warriors has been inconsistent in the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League. They are currently 4th on the league table with 31 points after 20 matches.

Last Sunday, the Ghanaian giants suffered defeat against Hearts of Oak, losing the President Cup back to back to their sworn rivals.

“If Seydou Zerbo will be on the bench and will not give instruction to the players, then I don’t see the need why the club should keep him, it will be better they sack him” he said.

Meanwhile, the Burkinabe trainer has been given two-weeks off duty following the demise of his son.

Zerbo departed Ghana to Burkina Faso on Wednesday to mourn his fallen son.

In his absence, assistant coach of the Porcupine Warriors Orlando Wellington will take charge of the team.
