Ex-Kotoko goalkeeper Razak Abalora reacts to winning double with Moldovan giants Sheriff Tiraspol

Ghana international goalkeeper Razak Abalora has shared his excitement after helping FC Sheriff Tiraspol to clinch double in Moldova.

The former Kotoko shot stopper emerged as a hero when his outfit defeated CSF Balti on penalties to win the Moldovan Cup at the weekend.

Despite creating scoring opportunities, both teams were unable to find the back of the net in regulation and the match had to be settled on penalties.

The former WAFA goalie proved his worth and helped his side to win 6-7 on penalties.

Their triumph in the Cup competition means, Sheriff Tiraspol have clinched double having already won the Moldovan League title.

Abalora has been a key figure at the Moldovan club since joining from Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko.

Sheriff Tiraspol will represent Moldova in the UEFA Champions League next season following their success in the league.

Compatriot Patrick Kpozo was also in action as they secured the Moldovan Cup.
