Ex-Kotoko management member Nana Kwame Dankwah appointed CEO of Okwahu United

Former Asante Kotoko management member Nana Kwame Dankwah has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of former Ghana Premier League campaigners, Okwahu United.

The Nkawkaw-based club secured qualification to the Division One League after six-years absence and are keen on making a return to the Ghanaian top-flight.

However, the club has appointed Nana Kwame Dankwah to steer affairs of the club as they compete in the 2023/24 Division One League.

Nana Kwame Dankwah is set to bring his expertise to the club, with the aim of fostering professionalism and achieving success.

In an interview with Rainbow Radio, Operations Manager of the club, Emmanuel Osei Asomani confirmed Dankwah’s appointment.

“Nana Kwame Dankwah has been named as CEO by management of the club. After our game against Hohoe United, he will officially start work as CEO on Monday, October 16 to steer affairs at the club,” Asomani said.

Okwawu United kicked off their campaign in the second tier of Ghana football with a draw at home to Semper Fi.

Their next assignment is a trip to Hohoe United.
