Ex-Kotoko striker Dauda Mohammed stars In Esbjerg fB’s draw against Aalborg BK in Denmark

Former Kumasi Asante Kotoko striker, Dauda Mohammed starred for his Esbjerg fB team on Sunday as they drew 1-1 against Aalborg BK in the Danish Superliga. 

The football season which had been suspended since March due to the Coronavirus (Covid-19) crisis made a return over the past week as football authorities cooperate with the government to see to the successful completion of the season.

In what was a Matchday 25 encounter played at the Blue Water Arena, Dauda Mohammed earned a starting role to play for Esbjerg fB against Aalborg BK.

He displayed a fine form to ensure his team managed to share the spoils with their guest. The Ghanaian attacker was in the mix of affairs in the move that resulted in Esbjerg's equalizer by Yuri Yakovenko on the 67th minute.

They could however not hold on as the away team equalized with 7 minutes to end proceedings courtesy a strike from Soren Tengstedt.

Dauda Mohammed ended up playing 90 minutes for his team as he earned a high rating of 7.2. The striker who is on loan from Belgian giants Anderlecht is in line for more starting roles as the season continues.

The 22-year-old has made 16 appearances this season and has managed to chip in with 2 goals. It is a statistic he is bent on improving before his loan spell comes to an end.
