Ex-Leeds boss blasts club for selling Bournemouth starlet Cook

Former Leeds United manager Neil Redfearn has criticised the Whites' decision to allow Lewis Cook to join Bournemouth.

Cook is currently considered as one of the brightest prospects in English football and ex-Leeds United boss Neil Redfearn has gone on to slam the Whites for not doing enough to stop the youngster from joining the Cherries back in 2016.

Redfearn said: "He's a fantastic talent. The lad moved on for whatever reason. It's a shame for Leeds because I think if Leeds could have kept hold of Lewis Cook and the younger players, that was the way forward.

"These are quality players and quality people and they've been brought up the right way."
