Despite being linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge, with AC Milan touted as a possible destination, Fabregas has reiterated he is committed to The Blues. This is something the Stamford Bridge side will be relieved to hear. Not only was Fabregas instrumental against Swansea, his goal against Sunderland and assistsagainst Manchester City and Watford earlier in the season were vital to Chelsea's title tilt.

Redknapp continued: "When you are up against a stubborn side like Swansea, you need to keep the ball and be patient. Fabregas is the man to do that.He has never been blessed with pace but there are very few players who have his eye for a pass.

"I love how he arrives late in the box, too - on Saturday at Stamford Bridge it was like watching Frank Lampard in his pomp.

"Fabregas does not always get the credit he deserves but in terms of technical ability, he should be regarded as one of the Premier League's greatest midfielders."
